Itinerary

  • Upon arrival at Mumbai Airport, you will be warmly received and driven onward to Aurangabad, a
  • historic city that once served as a stronghold of the Deccan Sultanates and later the Mughals. Known
  • as the gateway to the UNESCO-listed Ajanta and Ellora Caves, Aurangabad blends medieval history
  • with a calm, old-world charm. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the long journey.

  • Early in the morning, depart for Ajanta, home to some of the earliest surviving Buddhist cave
  • monuments in the world. Dating back to the 1st and 2nd centuries BCE, these caves are renowned
  • for their exquisite murals, sculptures, and frescoes that depict the life of the Buddha and ancient
  • Indian society. After a guided half-day exploration of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, return to
  • Aurangabad by evening.

  • After breakfast, proceed to the magnificent Ellora Caves, a rare archaeological site that showcases
  • religious harmony through its Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain cave temples carved between the 6th and
  • 10th centuries. Explore all 34 caves, including the awe-inspiring Kailasa Temple, a monolithic marvel

  • • 30 Days or more prior to the departure of tour - 75% of the Tour Cost
  • • 30-15 Days prior to the departure of the tour - 100% of the tour cost.
