Brazil is a diverse land of music, beaches, historic colonial architecture, ancient people, and natural resources. One of the world's most inspiring places, Brazil boasts white-sand beaches, lush rainforests, thundering waterfalls, and bustling cities.

Itinerary

  • Arrival at the international airport in Fortaleza. An English speaking staff welcomes you there and an already
  • organized transfer carries you to your hotel, where you finally stay overnight.

  • After having breakfast, you travel into the direction of Jericoacoara by regular bus. This drive is operated on
  • back roads, lonely beaches and through villages of fishermen. You have the possibility to join the peaceful
  • live of the Sertanejo, who are the local inhabitants of the Northeast of Brazil. The beautiful beaches, that
  • bestride the coast from Fortaleza to the delta of Parnaíba, are very popular for their windy conditions. Finally
  • you arrive at Jericoacoara, where you stay over night.

  • After having breakfast you are welcomed to relax on your off day. At Jeri, as Jericoacoara is called by the
  • locals, you can enjoy a lovely atmosphere. This harmonous place is located at 320 kilometer distance to
  • Fortaleza, in a silent and idyllic environment. At
  • Jericoacoara most of the inhabitants are fishermen.
  • There you just have sandy roads and animals pass
  • your ways sometimes.

  • After having breakfast a beachside path guides you
  • through the national protection zone as well as
  • through the village Vila Nova de Tatajuba, which was rebuild after covered by sand dunes a few years ago. From there you go to Camocim. After crossing several rivers and sand dunes you arrive at Parnaiba, where you stay overnight.

  • After having breakfast you take a boat for moving to the delta mouth of Rio Parnaíba, which is also called
  • Delta das Americas. The delta mouth of Rio Parnaíba is a still working eco system including forests and
  • lagoons, which are located on the white sand. It includes a labyrinth of water that consists of mangroves,
  • large rivers und small water streams, which are surrounded by tropical islands and lonely beaches. The
  • landscapes of such islands offer a multiplicity of several animals as well as numerous rare birds. Typical
  • fishing communities, which are named Caiçara, are situated there. Those communities are not often visited
  • by tourists. You pass the beach by using the jeeps until you arrive a small village called Atins.

  • After having breakfast a boad trip along the Río Preguiças is provided. You visit the unique vegetation and
  • numerous small villages along the riverside. Continuously you visit the light house of Mandacaru from where
  • you can see the breathtaking panorama of the rivers mouth at the horizon and the dunes of the LencoisMaranhenses-National Park. In the evening you start your trip tot je National Park of Lençóis Maranhenses,
  • which is operated by jeeps. This spectacular National Park is a worldwide unique geoglogical environment
  • and consists mainly of sandy dunes, which rises up to 40 meters. Such dunes run along the coast for
  • approximately 70 kilometers and form over 70 cristal clear laggons and fine sandy beaches. More in detail
  • you visit the lagoons Azul and/or Bonita, which are two of the most beautiful ones. These lagoons are
  • embetted in landscape of white sandy dunes and offers cristal clear water as well. At the sundown you have
  • the opportunity to swim there. Finally you arrive at Barreirinhas, where you stay overnight

  • After having breakfast you departure to Sao Luis to
  • your chosen accommodation. CITY TOUR > The city,
  • Sao Luis, received in 1997 the status of being an
  • world heritage of UNESCO for saving the LatinAmerican colonial syle of the 18th and 19th century.
  • More than 3,500 buildings, which have an
  • unforgettable historical and artistically value. You
  • stay at Sao Luis overnight.

  • After having breakfast a
  • transfer transports you to
  • the international airport for
  • departing.
